Today, I finally broke down and went shopping for new glasses. I have been wearing my old pair for almost seven years now. I usually wear contacts, but it’s nice to have the option of glasses when my eyes are dry or tired. I haven’t had this option in the past year or so because my prescription is just too weak with my current pair of glasses. So, needless to say, it was definitely time. Here are my old pair of glasses.
I love these frames, but I also want something new, so I decided to just get a whole new pair of frames and lenses. I went to Walmart of all places. I went in just to look expecting to be ignored and not find anything cute. I went right when they opened this morning, and I was surprised to be greeted by the assistant manager who was super nice and helpful. She showed me around, told me how much everything would cost and verified my insurance. There was actually a really good selection of frames to choose from too. These are a few of my favorite ones.
Making a decision was tough! The hubby helped me through pictures via text messages. 😉 Which one is your favorite?? I will post a picture of the ones I picked when I get them in ~10 days. I can’t wait!
