Super Bowl Sunday

4 Feb

Yesterday was Super Bowl Sunday and my only day off for the week. It was a day packed full of family fun. In the morning, I went to the local Farmers Market with my hubby and Little Mister. We bought a bouquet of fresh flowers, some organic strawberries, kale,  a butternut squash and a loaf of gluten-free bread.

We recently eliminated gluten from our diets and have been trying to find a gluten-free bread that doesn’t taste like cardboard. This was our 4th one to try, and it is by far our favorite. I will elaborate on our new gluten-free lifestyle soon in an upcoming post. Later on in the afternoon, our family came over to hang out and watch the game. We went to the park before the game, and the boys played basketball while me and Little Mister went for a walk and played on the swings. He loves to swing; his little face lights up and he smiles so big. ❤

Cutest thing ever! After the park, we put the little man down for a nap and put some chicken wings in the oven for game time. We devoured wings, had a couple of drinks and watched Super Bowl 2013. The highlight for me was the commercials, the half-time show, and the black-out! How crazy was that?! Needless to say, it was a fun and eventful day with the family. 🙂

Life is good!
