Healthy Fruit Smoothie

I made a yummy, super easy fruit smoothie today. I wish I had some spinach to throw in for a little veggie nutrients too; I’ll have to do that next time. Here is the recipe:


-1/2 banana

-mixed berries (I used a frozen blend of raspberries, strawberries and blueberries, but fresh and organic is always best.)

-1-2 cups unsweetened almond or coconut milk (I used almond milk this time.)

-ice (optional)

Optional add-ins: a handful of spinach leaves; a tablespoon of almond butter


-Throw all ingredients into blender and mix.

-Pour and enjoy.



Super easy! It’s a nice “dessert” if you are craving something sweet. And, you can add some spinach or other greens if you like without altering the taste much, if at all. For added protein, throw in a tablespoon of almond butter.
